How to disable the Bixby button on a Samsung phone

Learn how to disable the Bixby button on a Samsung phone. With disabling it, I mean, remove it from the power button.

Bixby is a virtual assistant developed by Samsung.

It's Samsung's version of Google Assistant and Siri.

You can interact with Bixby using your voice, text, or taps.

It's deeply integrated into the phone, which means that Bixby can carry out a lot of the tasks you do on your smartphone.

One thing that I don't like is that Samsung put Bixby on what used to be the power button on the side of Samsung mobile phones, which means that if you double-press or press and hold the side (power) button, Bixby will appear instead of the power menu.

Fortunately, you can change this, and on this page, I will show you how to do this.

The Bixby button is now disabled. So it's now removed from the power button, which means that if you double-press or press and hold the power button on the side of your Samsung smartphone, the power off menu will appear.
