Notepad++ auto complete HTML tags (auto close HTML tags)

This tutorial will show you step by step how to make Notepad++ auto complete HTML tags (auto close HTML tags).

Steps

1. Open Notepad++.

2. Click on Settings located in the top menu.

3. Click on Preferences.

4. Click on Auto-Completion in the left menu of the preferences window.

5. In the Auto-Insert section, you check the html/xml close tag option.

6. Click on the Close button at the bottom of the preferences window.

Notepad++ will now auto complete HTML tags.
