How to manage and block players on your PS5
Gaming is better with friends, but every now and then, you run into someone who makes the experience less than fun. Whether you’re trying to find a great teammate from your last match or you need to permanently block a toxic player, the PlayStation 5 gives you full control over who can interact with you.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to find recent players, manage your blocked list, and stop unwanted friend requests so you can get back to gaming in peace.

How to find players you recently played with

Press the PS button (PlayStation logo) on your controller.

A menu will appear at the bottom of your screen. In this menu, you click Game Base (select Game Base and press the X button).

Click Search for Players.

Now you'll see a list of players you recently played with. Scroll to the right and click View All to see more people you recently played with.

How to block a player on PS5
- Go to the player’s profile (from your Friends list, Search, or 'Played Together' list).

Click the three-dot (more) button.

Click Block.

Click Block to confirm.

System-wide blocking: When you block someone on your PS5, it is a system-wide block. This means they cannot message you, see your status, or send friend requests across all PlayStation platforms, including the PS4 and the PlayStation mobile app.

Open Users and Accounts.

Select Privacy.

Open View and Customize Your Privacy Settings.

Click Players you're blocking.

To let someone back in, simply click Unblock next to their name.

Click Who can ask to be your friend.
