3. Tap on the ⁝ (three dots) icon located in the top right corner.
4. Tap on Lock chat.
5. Tap on Continue.
6. Use your PIN, fingerprint or Face ID to continue.

The WhatsApp chat is now locked.

How to view a locked WhatsApp chat

1. Go to the Chats tab.
2. Swipe down.
3. Tap on Locked chats.
4. Use your PIN, fingerprint or Face ID to unlock the folder and view your locked chat messages.
