How to remove Yahoo search from Chrome and Edge (PC)
This tutorial will show you step by step how to remove Yahoo search from Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge permanently.

How to remove Yahoo search from Google Chrome
1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
2. Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of Chrome.

3. Click on Settings.

4. Click on Search engine located in the left menu.
5. Click on Manage search engines.

6. If Yahoo is set as your default search engine, then you will have to set another search engine as the default search engine first. To do so, click on the three dots next to your preferred search engine.
7. Click on Make default.

8. Now it's time to remove Yahoo. To do so, you click on the three dots next to Yahoo.
9. Click on Delete or Remove from list.

Google Chrome will remove Yahoo from its search engine list.
How to remove Yahoo search from Microsoft Edge
1. Open Microsoft Edge on your computer.
2. Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of Edge.

3. Click on Settings.

4. Click on Privacy, search, and services in the left menu.
5. Scroll down and click on Address bar and search.

6. Click on Manage search engines.

7. If Yahoo is set as your default search engine, then you will have to set another search engine as the default search engine first. To do so, click on the three dots next to your preferred search engine.
8. Click on Make default.

9. Now it's time to remove Yahoo. To do so, you click on the three dots next to Yahoo.
10. Click on Remove.

Microsoft Edge will remove Yahoo from its search engine list.
